The intimacy of breast-feeding is so rewarding. The feel of your baby's skin against yours. The smell of your baby. Your heartbeat and warmth is so soothing for him/her.
I know because I breast-fed both of my children. Breast-feeding does not have to be painful and uncomfortable.
Especially if you are shown at the right time, in the right place and when you are in the right frame of mind. It makes all the difference.
There are many ways to combat breast-feeding problems and the first step is knowing how to bond. The length of time (weeks or months) that you breast-feed should not be a cause of anxiety, just as long as you are happy to have tried. Alright? My aim is to make you achieve your goal of successful breast-feeding.
